Sundarban-The largest unbroken mangrove forest
Sundarban is located in both Bangladesh and west Bengal of India. This forest is unique for sundari tree species and Royal Bengal tiger. The full forest is covered with criss-crossed network of lake or river. Many species are available in this biologically rich mangrove forest. Most common wildlife are crocodiles, cheetahs, spotted deer, monkeys, pythons, wild bears, hyenas and different kinds of birds.
In Banladesh Part , you can access through Khulna and Mongla. There are also rest houses, and steamer or boat facilities also available for travelers to travel across the forest.
However, Sundarban is also selected as one natural places of Elite 28 New7wonders of the nature. If you wish you can also vote for Sundarban to support this great place to be selected as one of the seven best natural places of the world.
